South Liverpool Schools Together is a website for schools based in the South of Liverpool that work collaboratively as part of two Learning Networks as well as linking with Palmerston Teaching School (known as P.I.A. - Palmerston Inclusive Alliance).
The website focuses on our 3 key areas - two groups of schools known as G10 Learning Network and South Liverpool Learning Network and Palmerston Teaching School (known as Palmerston Inclusive Alliance, P.I.A.) which is supported by The National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL).
Whilst it is primarily the G10 Learning Network schools that are part of the P.I.A., the Teaching School is also able to offer support to schools in other networks and across the city.
All network member schools have worked closely and successfully together over several years and are a mixed group of primary, secondary and special. Their focus includes raising standards of teaching and learning across the schools; providing strategic management and leadership support for Headteachers and Leaders; facilitating school to school support on many different levels, as well as running effective and highly valuable CPD which is planned specifically against key areas of schools' needs and development. The networks provide opportunities for sharing of good practice between schools and, along with strong support from Liverpool's Local Authority, ensure they are kept up to date with all National Standards and areas of educational development and improvement.
The 'Shared Resources' section under the 'OTHER' Menu on the site includes a CPD area where you will find specific information about courses being offered - go to the link here
