NEW CPD offered by P.I.A. - Updated Offers (1.5.18) - dates will be organised based on numbers requesting the following training:-

SEN Courses (Behaviour; introduction to ASD/ADHD; Inspirational Maths for SEN pupils; Inclusive Literacy and ICT for SEN pupils) and
Leadership programmes - a series of programmes which can be offered either to groups of schools or bespoke to individual schools.
P.I.A. will also be offering Developing the Mentally Healthy School Training to schools in the future - they have currently become a Mentally Healthy Training School and are currently delivering training to other Teaching Schools across Merseyside. Training will then be rolled out to all other schools.
G10 LN has a programme of CPD to meet schools' improvement needs. P.I.A. develops a CPD plan for G10 schools that works towards all being Good or Outstanding.

Special School Alliance members
Special School Alliance members have a programme of CPD and Headteacher briefings to help maintain all at Good or Outstanding.
P.I.A. supports the Merseyside Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) group as required re CPD needs and contribute towards their infrastructure.
P.I.A. works with the Association of Liverpool Special School Headteachers (ALSSH) group to identify any areas of strength and issues for improvement that could be shared to ensure all schools remain Good or better.

School Direct SEN Training Programme
P.I.A. develop SEN training in conjunction with the ITT (School Direct) programme.

Some of the sessions are being offered to NQTs from network schools at a cost of £50 per person per session or FREE to schools which are offering student placements. See the timetable here.
