Individual schools will already have prepared some resources to support pupils, and their families/carers, to continue to follow their school's properly planned curriculum. We are all so grateful for the wonderful work of our Headteachers, their teachers and teams who continue to support all pupils and their learning in these very 'different' times. Thank you!
This page is 'password protected' and therefore I would advise you take care in 'sharing' any of the resources/websites below and of course, as per the DfE follow the safeguarding guidelines - DfE safeguarding guidelines and their Disclaimer links which are included below.
The DfE published a list of recommended FREE learning resources (7th April 2020) which includes English/Maths/Science/PE/Well-being and SEND Resources
However, the DfE states that these resources cannot replace a school's properly planned curriculum and these are only additional resources to support parents/pupils for home learning. The DfE has also included their 'Online Education Resources Disclaimer' which should be read whilst using any of the recommended websites on their list and you must check and comply with any terms and conditions on any third party websites. The DfE will review the list of online resources from time to time and may remove any resources without notice.
By using any of the recommended resources you must also refer to the DfE's safeguarding guidance:-
NEW - FROM MONDAY, 20TH APRIL 2020
The DfE recommends that pupils follow the guidance from their own individual school - Individual resources cannot replace a school’s properly planned curriculum, and the resources that are being recommended currently for FREE use for home learning are not to be used in place of existing resources which schools may be using as part of their continued provision for pupils’ education at this time.

The resources have been designed to help children develop their maths and literacy skills, improve visual perception, manual dexterity, learn new things have fun be creative and let their imaginations run wild! This week’s resources will suit families with children in primary school. We hope that families will be able to learn together, but children can do the activities independently. No special expertise is needed, there are no wrong answers, just a willingness to get involved and learn. Each home learning card contains a variety of activities that are suitable for children in the Early Years all the way up to KS2. We have also included one of our new range of KS2 Authors activity cards. This week we are learning all about Roald Dahl and his writing.
